TomTom Model(s)
XL Live
Are there any TomTom apps available for the XL Live? I can only find some TomPlayers, and not much (that is a app, on the third page)
Are there any?

It's been so long since that generation of TomTom has been sold, I'd be surprised if anyone was still supporting any of the older 3rd party apps.

http://www.webazar.org/tomtom/plugins.php used to have several, but I don't know if he's still got any of them up on the site (be prepared to do some translating for the web page).

I downloaded everything from that website lol
Also, do you know why my TomTom only makes the start up sound after the battery has drained completely? Like, I charge it (after a month) and when I turn it on it makes the start up sound, and never again.

The drums only sound when the logo comes up during reboots if I recall correctly.

From memory only:
For Croatian, there is Goran and Irena.
For Serbian, there is Predrag.

I haven't done a voice download for one of these older Nav2 devices in a long time, so can't guarantee that those were included in the Nav2 set. I know that TomTom Home doesn't allow it, but you may find these at another 3rd party site. I have this old link - you'll need to set up an account there to get access to the 140 voices.

I downloaded every voice. (All 140) They work flawlessly. I cannot believe my 10 dollar 16 year old TomTom works this good, with a 2018 map, a lot of car icons, a media player, all POI's, speed limits and more works this good. However, I have 2 small problems. How do you add sounds/chimes to the warning menu? Also, can you add a road to the TomTom? A small road is missing, and it was made very recently. But, works VERY VERY well.

Careful you don't wind up running yourself out of memory!

No, you cannot use the device to add a road, even on the older TomTom devices. And since you won't be seeing any map updates for that device, there's not much point in checking to see if it's currently in the 'master' map set, though you can satisfy your curiosity and add it for others to use here > https://www.tomtom.com/mapshare/tools/new/mapshare/

New sounds should be located in the "sounds" folder.

The TTS voices are limited (not as many languages supported), and require a fair bit of memory (about 45-50MB). I don't think Home will still allow download of those voices if you don't already have one on your device.

I have the folder, but nothing is inside it. Do I just copy-paste the sounds I want to use for the safety preferences?
Sorry for the huge amount of questions, I bought this TomTom for 10 bucks, forgot about it for 3 months and found it again. Do the TomTom+ functions still work (weather, search, maybe not traffic but stuff like that)?

You place any new sounds into the 'sounds' folder (surprised nothing is there already), and associate one with warnings.

For example:
Change Preferences / Safety Preferences / (select which ones to use) / Done / (select your sound file from the collection in the 'sounds' folder)

You can listen to each one before making a final selection.
