Hi all ,I have been using my device sparingly and in that time it has operated correctly.
Lately during its operations the screen returns to the start menu whilst it still gives the correct voice directions.
A couple of touches on directions thrown up on the screen reinstates the map.
Within less than a minute the screen will again drop out as stated.
Can any one suggest a remedy, or is it a common problem?
Hope some one can help.

Try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds.
