My Tom Tom device was working fine until I updated. Suddenly the On/Off function does not work properly - the device boots up, but will not turn off automatically (turned on in Settings) neither will it turn off manually if I long press the button. I have to leave it for a few hours before the screen stops flashing and goes black, then when I boot up again I have to go through the whole reboot process. Any ideas please?

Have you posted everywhere?

According to my research Go 4 AA53 corresponds to a Start 52?

I think it's the on/off button that's dead.

Select Settings from the main menu, then select System then Battery Settings there should be an option for your GPS to start and stop when connected to a power source.

Hi thanks for your reply. I will try that. Yes it is a Start52.
