TomTom Model(s)
XL
My XL has served me well in the many years I have had her, helping us around Western and Eastern Europe.
Unfortunately she is now too old for map upgrades (according to Tomtom) so I'm looking for a more recent model.
Main criteria is that I want to be able to plan a route using a number of points en route.
Otherwise I'm happy with everything on the old model and would buy new or used .

Many thanks !

Thanks dhn.
I'd more or less decided on the Go 520, but I understand it hasn't the capability for me to enter multiple waypoints in planning the journey.
It seems that only the older models have this

And of course, they can be planned on the unit as well, though for longer trips, that can be a bit tedious.

Thanks guys !
Obviously I have had incorrect information.
Hopefully what you say is applicable for models this side
of the pond as well

Most definitely is.
One of the things you'll need to adjust to is the way you interface with your new unit using the MyDrive web site. It will be your new method to load any custom POI files to your device, and is used instead of 3rd party apps to plan routes that are to be sent to your device as well.
