Saving map changes

The speed limit on a local road has been changed from 90km/h to 80km/h.
I have changed the details on my XXL via computer and uploaded the change to TomTom but the XXL still shows 90km/h when I drive along the road.
How do I make sure that the XXL has saved the changes ?

Although it won't be used to compute a different arrival time, your unit should show the speed as you have changed it. If possible, make the change on the face of the unit itself instead of by using Home and see if that causes the unit to display your corrected speed. It should work either way (and it's easier to select road segments on the PC), but ...
