Renault Laguna 3 van bouwjaar 2010 Carminat problem time stamp

I can collaborate that I'm experiencing the same issue.

Ironically, I can access the time settings through the Carminat menu and set the clock there—but it won’t actually save anything I enter. As soon as I confirm the time, it just takes me back to the settings menu, and the clock still shows --:--. If I open the time settings again, it’s reset to 00:00.
There’s also a “synchronize” option using the button at the top left of the center console. When it has enough satellites, it works perfectly and retrieves the correct time—but that doesn’t get saved either.
Exactly same problem here.

Thanks the fix worked! I'm really new into this :
Anyone can tell me maybe the latest maps to install on this car, and if there is a tutorial?
I've made a backup of my sd card :)
When i bought the car , i already had this modified sd and this is the very first time i look into it!

You connect your SD card to your TomTom Home account, then you purchase the latest version of the maps available.

The SD card immediately displayed the correct time after starting the Carminat TomTom. I then only copied my map material from the original SD card to the patched version, and everything runs perfectly! THANK YOU

Thanks a lot Bristolian (post #100), the file works perfectly for my Clio 3 Carminat TomTom !
Thanks a lot also MacPat (post #18) for having investigated the root cause !

Well, still hoping on responce TomTom support for the fix other version without PNDNavigator file.
I need solution in Loopdir file; is other version Carminat.
Yes i should have the tool Linux for writing in file ext3_loopback.

the conversation on the ticket 3593394 is not constructif. If i don't responce in 48 hours they close the ticket????
There is none answer back... even a notice "yes we are working on it"

Where can i find a solion with the Linux tool? how to do it ... or is this typical a support issue TomTom

You may have to go into your settings and turn the audio on again. I had to yesterday, but it works fine!

@Bristolian, I have a totally different file structure then mention in your fix. I check it.

this is mine;

All you should need to do is firstly to back up everything that's on the TomTom SD card. Keep them safe. Then, copy the extracted files from the link in my post #100, and drag them to where you have your files, overwriting if asked to.

That should be it. It should then work happily.

i read all over, there are 2 versions. the version with the standalone file PDNavigotor and the version where in Linux file hidden the file Loopdir/EXT3_Loopback file. This one needs a other solotion... (Writing with Linux tool and needs experiance)

or

there is no problem to overwrite all and is working on bothe version? why diverent versions?

Back up everything first, and then copy the files across. Try it :).

I let you know, i am starting and testing....
