question on making custom POI

Hopefully this is in the right forum to ask this question.

I would like to make/download points of interests but not sure on how to do this.

is thier a program that will make them up?

lets say I want to add in all Shell gas stations in Mass/CT/NY.

I go to goggle map and do a search for shell in CT and say 200 locations pop up, I would I add them to my tomtom 720?

would I have to add in every location manually or is there a program that can do a cut/copy/paste type thing to make life easier?

this is all new to me and very interesting and I would like to make up some New England area PoI's up.

It took me some time to figure it out, but it's now easy just very time consuming. Follwoing the directions given by the other users and it becomes easy.

It took me roughly 3 hrs to make a POI for McDonalds in New England.
