PRO 5150
Hello all,I haven't updated my 5150 for about 5 years. It has been days in "busy repairing your device" status. I am using windows 7 on my desktop and I have version 4.3.6.5021
your advice most appreciated
thanks
Paul

Hi
Have you installed Mydrive connect for Windows 7 https://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/navigation/mydrive-connect/

What happens when you connect it to Mydrive connect?
Is GPS recognized by Mydrive Connect?
Have you tried with another cable?
Hello Willy, thanks for replying...When I connect it to my drive it goes straight into as per picture. I have not noticed whether GPS is recognised, nothing stands out. I'm not too sure if the mini-b cable I have is,came with the Pro 5150,but I am using a cable for a Canon A470

Hello! Tomtom Home doesn't recognize my Tomtom 5150 Pro, although it did in the past.
Hi
Tomtom GO 5150 has never been compatible with the Tomtom Home software, it is Mydrive connect that you must download to your computer for updates.

I don't know what you mean by "recognize", but your 5150 is a Nav3 device, and TomTom Home supports nothing beyond Nav2 devices. MyDrive Connect is used for your 5150.

How long has it been since you used the cellular connection to talk to TomTom's servers?
