Has anyone else noticed a lack of comprehensive POIs on the Go 720?
Out of the box, my 720 doesn't seem to find nearby retail stores, restaurants, etc, where my previous Navigator for Palm implementation did.
So, other than use a POI site to knit something together, does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this (or compensate for it)?
For example, I still have my files from the Navigator (just the Palm died). Does anyone know if the GO 720 would read the POI.Dat file from my NewEnglandMidAtlantic states map? If so, maybe that would be all I'd need.
Or, if not, is there a way to convert this file for use on the 720? I tried POIEdit but it would not allow me to open the file successfully for editing (or viewing either).
Right now, I like my 720, but if I had my POIs back, I could be in love again.
