POI question

I find it strange, there is a Dairy Queen at 300m from my home.

1. When I BROWSE MAP => I can't see it
2. The main screen => I can't see it (so it mean if I run in a city I will not see it no map)
3. Navigate to, POI, Near Home, I press Right Arrow, don't see my DQ in restaurant.
4.BUT if I click on Navigate to, POI, SEARCH, I see a list of POI that I don't see on my map, and DQ is there.


How can I have all POI on both map? Too many POI on map would it slow down the XLS map scrool?

When you click Browse map, click options, then the POI key on the lower left. then select all of the POI categories you want to see. To see them on the map, tap Change preferences, then Show POI on map, and select the POIs you want to see, I have read that if you have more than three POIs visible, it will slow your map down.

I haven't seen any slowdown in my maps with a lot of poi's visible, certainly a lot more than three. I'm not often in a city with many streets though, so that might account for any slowdown, a lot more map detail and more pois.
