POI on menu screen how do I delete

Somehow a recent destination is showing up on my screen after I enter navigat to and then point of interest, how can I delete this? I have tried cleaning all recent destinations but it still shows on my main screen i.e. icon

Don't worry about it, it's the way the application works. The next time you navigate to a poi, THAT poi icon will replace the existing one on the screen....... and so on ..........
