Editing Extract Files

I was able to extract the data from the POI.Dat and now have the individual .OV2 files. Is there away to edit these files to remove some data that is not needed? I tried converting one to .CSV file but it is too large. Any idea?

I had the same problem when I loaded one of the *.ov2 files, I think you just have to be patient. Have you tried opening the file in POIEdit? I think it still will take some to load.
