I just installed a full custom voice file for normal directions and such, on my XXL 540. It seems to be working.
I do have a question though.
Are there any start up greeting phrases that I can input for whenever start up my Tom Tom? If so ,can I customize them?

Unfortunately not, to my knowledge.

There are tools out there to modify phrases the voices say for the Vocalizer computer voices but your model has the Loquendo voice engine and there aren't tools for that.

I bookmarked it as soon as I saw it, but have never tried it myself. I've not looked into it so don't know if it will still work on your model as it was first posted when v7 software was current!

Useful find though! The instructions there look quite similar to Graham's old site.
