New POI Icon created

I was on a trip the other day and called up the POI's that are stock with a version 2 for a Starbuck's.
It showed one close so I told it to navigate to it. Now an Icon for Starbuck's shows on the screen when I go to the "Navigate to...POI screen". It shows up right after the "POI near destination" icon.

The question is, how do I get rid of it and why did it show up?

I think it just shows the last one you selected. I don't know how to get rid of it, but if you pick another category, that one will show up instead.

Adagio is correct. It did not create a second or new POI. It just remembers it for you just in case you need to return to it.
It has been helpful for me a few times.
