Smoother without POI icons

Anyone notice that the TomTom navigation looks a lot smoother without having POI icons on (just the map)?

I notice that the navigation animations are a lot smoother when no POIs are showing.

Do you show your POI in both 2D and 3D modes?

Think that's always been the case. The fewer the pois showing, the faster the screen refresh.

Sadly, the newer Nav4 devices are not capable of even showing pois on the driving screen, so no observations are possible.

It's a matter of how MANY different POI you are displaying at the same time. We really don't recommend more than 2 or 3 at a time for the 'slower' units.
