New Owner of 910 - looking for a fix to a problem

Just got it and been playing with for a couple of days. Overall, quite satisfied... however, the unit "lost" the Home location & favorites at least a couple of times. Since this unit does not have an SD card, I would assume this is either stored in the flash memory or on the hard drive.

Anyone else run into this problem and possibly has a fix or some advice?

Hello and welcome.

The 910 has a hard drive. No need for a SD card.
Your experience is different.
What version Firmwire do you have installed?

Also, have you updated the maps? If you have a backup, you should be able to drag the mapsettings.cfg file, that's the file with your favorites.

Original maps, new on order. The one that came with unit is quite outdated... a subdivision that's 8-years-old is missing.

The best thing to do in this case is report to either TeleAtlas or TomTom of the map error.

You may have to login to your TT account to report the error.
