Just got my 910 via UPS yesterday. After reading the forums for a while the first thing I did was a backup.
After setting the preferences my 910 froze at the screen with the 910 pic on it. Of course Customer Support was closed.
Call them first thing this morning and was only on hold for 3 minutes, service rep was very nice and was extremely helpful. Gave her the # of the ID tag on my 910 and she said I had to go to tomtom.com/4987 and do the download update process there. Will do that tonight when I get home. Hope it fixes everything.
The forum seems like it will be a great source of info for me. Looking forward to making some POI's etc. Have been a GPS nut and geocacher for a long time.
