Mounting TomTom XL in Mercedes Sun Visor?

I've decided to mount my TomTom XL in the passenger sun visor of my Mercedes 300 series. The visor is pretty thick and contains a light and mirror system that is easily removed.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to finish the visor so it looks nice?
See my photos. I was considering using some minimal expanding foam to fill in the voids and I needs some ideas on how to cover that foam.

Also, in order to hardwire teh unit, should I just break open the car adaptor and wire that into the fuse box? Does the TomTom automatically turn on with the car's power or will I have to hold the power button each time?

Thakns for any help.

After filling in the voids, you can revinyl the piece.
You do need to manually turn on the unit.
