Max records in custom POI?

I am new to the TT world. I've managed to get custom POIs on the device. When I try a large data set (about 600 records), only about 40 are showing up...

Is there a limit on the number of POIs in a single POI file? I have read about limits on the number of POI files but can not find anything regarding the max number of 'points' in a single POI file...

Any and all help is much appreciated...

From some of the .OV2 files I've seen, the maximum number of POI's in a custom file must be in the tens of thousands.

AFAIK, there is no limit on the number of POI entries. However, extremely large poi sets will slow down you device, as they are all loaded into active memory.

Is your problem that when you search for a POI, only those nearest to your position (or the position you specified) appear in the search results? You should be able to see all of them in the 'browse map' view. There is no way to have them all appear in the search results.
