"A Burnsville man was sentenced to 750 years in prison for creating at least 29 pornographic images of prepubescent girls in his basement.

The tip-off that helped investigators put him away: a Brownie uniform in the background of one of his photographs.

The sentence handed down to Bruce W. Betcher in U.S. District Court on Monday is believed to be one of the longest in U.S. history for the manufacture and possession of child pornography. "

People like this just make me sick. Good to see this guy get locked up. I wish there weren't so many people out there using the internet to prey on little kids

We just had a case here in Italy involving a whole kindergaden class! 750 years? to easy! Should be buried alive.

From what I have heard, prisoners locked up for child crimes always get what they deserve from the other prisoners. So life in prison for a child crime is a good punishment...death would be an easy way out for these guys.

Funny how other prisoners suddenly become the moral authority when they see a guy in for a child crime lol

I completely agree, that this type of behavior is disgusting, but on the light side... "the manufacture" hahaha makes it sound like the guy was making drugs. I don't think I would use that word for this crime.

It's a jungle in prison. From what I read/heard that there is a certain respect you get depending on the crime you commit. I believe, any criminal committed of a charge against children are considered bottom of the barrel.
