how to install poi's on v7 maps?

when i had the v6 maps i had no problem adding poi's to it. but the v7 maps doesn't look the same? could some one please give me the how to

Don't you still just copy them to the map folder?

paste the 2 files to your USA_Canada folder.

It is exactly the same way for both v6 and v7 maps. Just copy the the ov2 and bmp file into the map folder.
