Hands Free with a 730

Hey,

Traded my ONE XL for a 730. I love it. One of my only complaints is that when I use it hands free with my Blackberry 8830 World. I love it. It was easy to set up and works really good with no problems with sound quality. My only problem is that the audio coming from the speaker seems low. I have tried to turn up the volume (makes the routing voice very loud) but it doesn't make any difference in the volume of the caller.

Any thoughts on getting the caller's audio to be louder?

Go to the 2nd preference menu page and select 'Volume Preferences'
Uncheck 'Link volume to noise level'.
This helps.

Just bought a 730.

How did you get your 730 to find the 8830?

Everytime I try and have the 730 find the 8830 it comes back stating no phones found.

The 8830 found the 730 without any problem.

BB wasn't set to be discovered!

Can do the handsfree calling now.

You need to turn up the volume slider while you are on the phone. The phone volume is different than the routing volume.
