Going to the UK and Ireland

I have a XXL530 with North America map installed. As I'm visiting the British Isles, is it easy to install the UK map? What is the procedure.

1. Use Explorer to copy the USA_Canada map folder to the computer
2. Once you are SURE the map is on the computer, delete it from the unit.
3. Goto the TomTom site and purchase and install the UK&ROI map:
Maps - TomTom
Select your model and choose the UK&ROI map
(ignore the suggestion to purchase the Western_Europe map, you're unit doesn't have enough space)
4. When you are back home, reverse the process by copying the UK map to the comuter, deleting it from the unit and restring the USA_Canada map to the unit.

Just had a friend head to Ireland with his 340 and was able to add the UK-ROI map to the North American map without doing anything more than deleting some unused stuff on the 340. It's not a very big map as it turns out.

Many thanks. I'll try the delete and store thru Windows.
I noticed that a new US/Canada map and UK both should fit assuming the file size is as they say on TomTom home.
