Go930 Screen froze after battery replacement

I replace the battery in my GO930. The unit worked find until after the battery was replaced. On startup the screen go to the TomTom logo and then to a screen of blue water. I updated the unit and hit the reset. Any ideas?
 
Yes, but WHAT updates were installed? Application? Mapshares? Maps? Gpsquickfix files?
 
Okay........

If you can connect to the computer, do this:

1. Make an Explorer, not Home, backup of your unit's contents. If not sure how, see here: https://www.tomtomforums.com/genera...4-how-backup-contents-your-unit-computer.html

2. Next, delete all the loose files in the root of the unit (use Explorer). NO folders or their contents.

3. Connect the unit to Home. You should be offered an application (it should be 8.351). Install.

4. Disconnect PROPERLY from Home using the Device Disconnect icon on the bottom right of Home's screen.

5. Restart the unit. Any better??
