no maps found for my go930

Dear All,

Please help me with my tomtom go 930. Some days ago I updated my tomtom with Eastern Europe maps (version 890.4222) and also I updated my tomtom home to 2.9.0. After installation my tomtom showed-no maps found. I tried re-install maps many times, but it haven't helped. Unfortunately my maps were too old and I can't restore them and I don't have backups. I tried to reset my tomtom, but without success. Application version- ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8398. Any ideas?

If you downloaded an updated map, it should be found here in compressed format:
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\complete\maps\

and you can try a manual install. See the instructions here:

Hang on... I doubt new maps will work well with v8.398 software.

I'm surprised Home2 didn't force you to update... you should be running v9.430 by now!

What does Home2 suggest when you connect up and select "Update"?

You MAY even need to start off with Home v1 to start getting up to date. (you can download thet from the same page as Home 2 if necessary).
