Just bought my TT One about a week ago and after doing a lot of research on the web, found this great site, along with some other POI sites that have been very helpful in adding functionality to by TT. So far the thing has been great and thanks to some of the suggestions I've found on here as they have been well worth it.

Thanks. I'm not sure I need the new maps. I have version v665.xxx

I have a TomTom v4. It claims everything is up to date I believe.

Well, there is a 6.75 version but its not offered in USA/Canada.

Trust us on the backup!!!! I dl'd the new maps (665) because mine did not come with them. The 665 version is more accurate where I am at due to the rapid growth in my area.

Thanks all for the warm reception. I am quickly becoming a TomTom zealot due to the information I've found from this site as well as the attitude of the people. I beginning to think TomTom people are zealots, much like Apple fans. I am perfectly fine with this.
