Go 720, Go 6200
This seems impossible - anyway I have not succeeded. I keep replying to various questions on your support pages but I never get a chance to put a questions myself. Also finding a phone number is a challenge. I live in Sweden. I have a Go 720 and am interested in Go 520 or 5200.

This forum is NOT an official Tomtom site.

That said, call support here:

But do NOT respond with a model when prompted. A live agent should then come on line.

Welcome to TomTomForums.

As dhn said, we are a peer-to-peer supporst site, not connected with the TomTom company.

The 520 and 5200 are basically the same machines, except that the 520 gets its Live Traffic data form a Bluetooth connection from a cell phone's data plan.
The 5200 has an additional SIM card built in for live data and does have to be connected to a cell phone. This is the reason for the price difference.

I think for the 5200, Arno means "does NOT have to be connected to a cell phone". For the 5200, TomTom provides both the SIM card and the account with the cellular provider that makes your connection.

The 520 is also capable of getting live traffic data from a WiFi connection, including one provided by your phone as a 'hot spot'.

I agree....totally frustrated how TT can not care a bit about the customers
