Does anyone know how come every time I update my map, i lose all of my favorites? You know how hard it is sometimes to remember how to get to a place that isn't exactly where the GPS says it is.

The file that your favourites are stored in (MapSettings.cfg) can get wiped out during a map update, to be honest you would be far better using a Custom POI file on the device to overcome the issue of data disapearing. Custom POI files will survive application and map updates, they can also be shared between devices by transfering a single file - Mike
