Favorites > Storage Capacity GO 520

I'm looking at buying a GO 520. Does anyone know how many favorites this unit can hold. I need it to hold about 300-400 places. Is this possbile thru it's storage or is there another way ? Thanks

With numbers that huge, it is best to keep them all on your PC as POI files, and use the TomTom web service to send them to your device. By that method, you can maintain your lists and have backup copies on your PC.

If you can segregate them into some sort of categories as several different POI files, that could be helpful for speeding up access to individual entries on the device.

I have custom POI files on my device that hold ~4,000 entries at any given time -- which is why I recommend the above from experience.
