Deleting directions

I'm a new user to TomTom - I have a Go 730 - I deleted the previous directions (route) from the unit but it still shows an "un-named" road for me to follow. Of course it keeps correcting my direction frequently.
How can I delete this "un-named" route?

Hit the "Clear Route" option form page three of the menu, if Clear Route isn't available to you go to Change Preferences/ Show ALL menu options then "Clear Route" will appear - Mike

Make sure the "Demo" option is disable.
