Compass/Orientation Issue

I just got a TT910 about a week ago and I love it. However, I found a strange phenomenon...Occassioanly when I am stopped at a red light the compass/orientation on my TT910 changes almost 90 degrees and my route recalculates even though the TT910 was never moved or changed?

Does anyone know why this is happennning or how it can be preventeded?

What configurations, if any are lost during a pin reset? (i.e. POIs, Cellphone/Bluetooth Configs, Plus configs, prefeences, etc?

No it doesn't remove safe configirations.
