changing software

Hey ,

did a search but couldnt find what i was looking for ,

basically i have a tomtom xl , and i need to use it for lorry driving ,

i have got the work 7000 software and am wondering if i can put that software on the xl,? like just a drag and drop system fiiles on ? or am i likely to brake something ?

any help much appriciated ,

The software is only part of the "Work" solution the main part is the map which TomTom only supply for specific models in their product range and the XL isn't one of them, without the map you won't get the truck routes options working correctly.

Secondly installing a Navcore software not intended for your device may well cause it to operate unstable with it crashing/ re-booting etc - Mike
