canada and usa maps

can anyone post a link where to download the USA and Canada maps for tomtom?
When I did the backup of thge content of my gps I am affraid I didn't do it properly.

I'm afraid there is no legal site to get the maps other than TomTom's site. If you got your latest map within the last year, you are still entitled to dl it.

Use Home and click on Add Maps/Voices to see what's offered.

Also, using Home, and Add Maps/Voices, move to the screen showing Items on Your Computer; you may find the map is on the pc. If so, select it to install.

If following dhn's advice doesn't work, you should have no trouble CALLING TomTom support and having them associate the appropriate map with your account...they may not give you the 'latest' one, but they'll get you back up and running.
