Can u turn a XL to a XLS?

Is there any way this is possible and how? Can u just take the files from the XLS and put them on the XL?

I hope so because that is what I need as well. In New Zealand they do not sell the XLS only XL.

I got a message back from TOM TOM Support and the answer they gave was:

"
Thank you for contacting TomTom Customer Support with regards to your XL.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to upgrade the XL to text-to-speech. The hardware is not compatible.
"

I assume the hardware is the same, they just want you to buy their other version - even though where I live in New Zealand they do not even sell it. In fact they only sell the following:

TOMTOM ONE XL
TOMTOM One 3rd Edition

That is it!
