adding new map

I currently have the USA map on my android device. I want to install the USA+Canada map. Do I need to uninstall the USA map first? If I just install the new one without uninstalling the old, will I have two separate maps or will it just add to the scope of my map? If I don't uninstall, will my favorites carry over to the new map?

In TT Android the maps are independent. You can have both installed at the same time as separate maps.

Favorites will not carry over automatically. You would need to root your device and copy over the favorites.ov2 file over from one folder to another. Or manually rekey them.
