Ability to search for random stores?

Guys i have a question. The other day i was with a friend and we tried to search for the closest radioshack and no matter how many different ways i tried to search i.e. via POI's it would not find it. Mean while we found one just up the street.

Is there a way to search for a building/company/office i.e.

Discount Auto Parts

Toys R Us

Walgreens

etc.

Without having to search through a category? I've been having this problem with my TomTom One for a while now.

It's best to search a POI by using the Any POI category function, choose the distance within (i.e 5km or 25km), and then type in the text you are searching for (i.e. Walgreens).

Have you tried that?

I recommend connecting your unit to HOME and downloading the Free Retail Stores POI that is available.
