730 won?t start any more

hi
i have just updated a tomtom 730 via home-but now it will not start up anymore..
i have tried the erase all and then reinstall procedure, but to no effect...
disk utility did not find any errors..
what else could it be?

Have you tried a pin reset on the unit?

thanks- I have tried that as well, but no luck...
formatting the disk did help though!
