550xxl problems after new map update

After updating the new maps, the unit won't behave. It keeps freezing and rebooting.
Can someone give some good advice.

Connect to Home. Run the emulator (Operate my unit).

Plan a trip. Disconnect properly from Home using the Device Disconnect icon.

Any better?

That did the trick.
I was on the phone with Tom Tom support for almost an hour. I knew more then her

I have the same issue whenever I update my 550XXL as well. A real pain in the ass but what can ya do???
