Both the sync and car power cord (with traffic dongle) do not make proper contact in the socket of the GPS. This results in the device shutting down as opposed to quitting. (Wiggling the either cord will result in the device turning on.) Has anyone any ideas/experience in tightening this connection other than a much better design. Other than this issue the device has given me several years of very good service. Hate to see it go.

I have found that if I first have the male plug of the cable at a slight angle upwards and then insert into the opening on the device, the insertion goes much better.

Thanks. The connector is firmly seated but appears to not making a tight connection. Probably caused by the entry angle of the plug end. Has anyone tried to "squeeze" the female connector?
