XL330S to XL340S

My girlfriend mail ordered the TomTom XL340S my birthday. We wanted the included Mexico maps. When we got it from Best Buy it was the XL330S.

It is basically the same thing except no Mexico maps or Advance Lane warning. Is there a way to update the 330 to the 340?

Afraid not......

The 2 models have different hardware setups: the 340s has a 2 gig storage, the 330s has 1. The 340s has 64 meg ram, the 330s has 32.

That's why the 340 not only has a Mexico map but the 340s also shows Advanced Lane guidance and IQ routing for its maps, the 330 doesn't have either of these features.
