Voice intruction annoyance.

Because I like to navigate using .itn routes and I understand that when creating a route using waypoints/ stops the rider 550 sees the stops as destinations and anounces you arrival at everyone of them gets on my nerves, how can i stop the anouncements without dissableing vocal instructions.

Oh ive just been trawling tha vast hurray of myrouteweb help tutorials and dont know if it will work untill tomorrow but if you change the waypoint to a shaping point the man in the tomtom wont see it as a destination so wont keep shouting at me mid route.

Tomtom will announce all route points. If you want only waypoint to announce and not shaping points get a Garmin.
One of the main reasons I went for the Garmin Zumo XT and got rid of my Rider 550. FYI I still use the Tomtom Go app on my phone as a backup.
