TomTom VIA 1505TM -- I have updates... or I don't?

MyTomTom says I have updates, but when I plug in my VIA 1505TM, the message changes to say that I don't have any updates. I didn't download anything, and the message change is fairly instant.

Is this a bug? Is anyone else having this issue?

I am just afraid I'm not getting my updates.

There is currently a bug in tomtom's map servers whereby everybody is being offered maps they already have on their units. That may be it.
