Tomtom for Big Rigs

I have used Garmin and Lowrance, and both brands have this habit of taking me down tiny residential streets in my big rig. Not only does it not save me time, it's illegal for me to be on these roads! Is there any tomtom that will keep you on major roads or highways, and only deliver you to your address on a small street at the very end?

Well, you could always use the preference setting for 'fastest' when route planning. That normally should keep you to main roads/highways/etc.

But are you aware that Garmin just announced a gps unit specifically for truckers a week ago?
