tomtom 125 map updates

I have an tomtom 125 with internal map memory. There is no sd card with an 125. My questionis: How do I update the map when I need memory to do it ?????

Home's update process normally overwrites the existing files in the map folder.

You can (and should) backup your unit's contents prior to a map update so after the backup (use Explorer, not Home), you can physically remove the existing map folder from the unit.
