Summer Heat

Now that summer's here, another concern has arisen.


If my ONE is mounted on the windshield, it gets pretty darn hot (and it's only the mid 20s! (?C of course)).

Won't that shorten the battery life?

It certainly will, the heat will lower the battery capacity permanenatly.

I guess what you can do is mount the unit near the headliner of the car so it's not in direct sunlight (that is if you're really concerned).

crap. I had it out in the open for 2 hours last Wednesday under 25-30 degree weather.

That wont hurt it. IVe had my Go 510 in the heat +32c for a whole day a few times. Just dont make a habbit of it is all Im currently making a heat shield for it. Ill post pics when its done
