yes, i was on the Trans Canada Hwy, somewhere in the prairies, and my TT13e showed me driving across a lake, funny thing is that I wasnt.
I am a long distance truck driver using this unit for the first time so i thought I would give it a try.
There are many errors with the TT maps in Canada. There is a real lack of gas stations listed. In some places like Swift Current there are stations all along the Hwy, but not 1 is shown. Tghey have much better coverage for the USA.
Hwy 43 from Edmonton to Whitecourt had me all over the place. TT was constantly recalculating.
It would show me to turn "left", and the voice prompt was saying "right"
It had me travel down backcountry roads instead of hwys and some interstates. Adding too many miles and hours to my trips.
It showed my destination as being 10-500 meters from where it really was sometimes. :S
I will be using it in conjunction with Streets and Trips.
