Recieved email from TT, offering a free set of POI's for Eastern Canada. I did the download no prob, but I don't see them, unless they actually just went in with all the other POI';s. It would have been nice if they had been a separate folder or POI set as they called them.

Cheers!

Check the contents of your unit using Explorer. Tomtom has an annoying habit of placing downloaded poi data into a folder called pois which does nobody any good.

So check and see.........look at the date of all your *.ov2 files in your specific map folder to see whether they did indeed get placed there.

Unless the new POIs replaced the entire poi.dat file? (or crpoi.dat?)

Check the date of those files too
