Hi all
Ive bought my first, yes first sat nav a second hand tom tom one 3rd edition.
My question is when I connected it to my computer 90 minutes ago it
keeps saying please wait, does it take a long time to charge the battery

If it was flat or almost flat, it very well could take that long, especially connected to a computer instead of a car charger or a mains charger since a computer offers up about .5A while the others have at least double the power.

Did it start up OK in the end, Tess?

I plugged it into the cars 12v socket & it stared Ok .
When for a run & it worked fine. Thanks for the advice
