Hi folks, just got a GO 510 and am slowly getting to know it.

So where does one start with a Tomtom anyway? I picked up a refurb 510 and just started using it today. It has a bit of a learning curve, more frustrating things than anything else, like typing in addresses always seems to end up with no matches or a screen that just stares back at you.

What map version do you have ? Anything less than 6.75 is no good.
The 510 is the best TomTom for the buck, if you know how to.
Buying an old GPS with outdated map is false economy, unless you can get a 30 day 'new map warranty'.
By the way to find out the map version : touch the satellite signal bars, then on the Version.

OK then version 6.525. Any reccomends on what I should do next?
