Need hardware expert advice please

I replaced the battery in my Go 720. No problem.

Whle re-assembling, the little platic clip that holds the ribbon flex cabe to the screen broke. A very bad design in my opinion.

So now I have a very expensive paper weight.

TomTom won't give me the part number. It seems to be a common part. Probably cost a penny for 50 of them.

Anyone else have this issue? Anyone have a solution?

No luck

I tried your advice. No luck. I only found one place that would sell me the tiny piece of plastic for $30. I'm going to see what I can do to wedge something in there.

Just a thought, if it is such a common piece, why don't you take a close up picture and post it here.
Maybe someone (definitely not I) will recognise it. Put a scale in the picture for size reference.
